About the Role
- Manage several prospect accounts across different client portfolios.
- Provide complete sales support with a strong focus on capturing the dynamic nature of the business and communicating the client’s story well.
- Confidently talk with different people in charge. This might mean selling FinTech solutions to Finance Directors and HR leaders at small to medium-sized enterprises in the morning, and presenting Agentic AI offerings to CTOs in the afternoon.
- Make about 20 outbound calls daily. Technology helps with this, taking roughly 2.5 to 3 hours.
- Call volume and persistence are important, but the focus is on smart activity rather than strict targets. Some days will have fewer calls, others more, depending on what needs attention.
- Most outreach is cold, but warm leads are also available. Target people are professional and courteous.
- Proactively follow up on leads, move opportunities through the sales pipeline, and close deals.
Requirements
- Proven experience selling into the UK market.
- Understanding of local business culture and how decisions are made there.
- A polished, clear way of speaking on the phone. A consultative and calm approach is necessary.
- An aggressive B2C style is not a good fit. Prospects are often from finance and traditional British sectors, so professionalism and refined communication are important.
- Quick thinking with strong skills in handling objections. Must be able to learn fast and adjust in real time.
- Self-motivated, independent, and interested in thinking critically about the role beyond just doing the tasks.
- A positive, committed attitude. Success requires resilience and ownership in a growing business.
- Relevant qualifications and a solid understanding of professional sales basics.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Ability to manage campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and messaging channels.
- Ability to add strategic ideas along with calling and meeting activities.
Tools & Systems
- HubSpot CRM, Slack, and standard dialler systems are used.
- The technology setup is not complex; the tools are easy to use and effective.
Salary
- The starting basic salary is £2000 (roughly R45,400.00) per month plus commission and incentives.
- The basic salary is planned to increase to £2500 (roughly R56,800.00) per month after 6 months.
- This is negotiable based on skills, experience, and current pay package.
- Earnings potential can go over £100K+ over time, but this role is for someone who values opportunity.
- Commission is paid based on revenue received.
