Responsibilities

  • Achieve business objectives for the assigned territory (e.g., penetration of account with product/solution/service offerings).
  • Uncover opportunities, generate proposals, prepare sales quotations, plan customer meetings, and demonstrate equipment capabilities.
  • Guide the development and execution of strategic account plans to make sure assigned business goals and budgets are met.
  • Develop, build, and cultivate long-term relationships with key management within the customer organization, seen as a trusted advisor and consultant.
  • Communicate current market intelligence to various decision-makers within each account.
  • Assist management in devising sales plans and strategies, and develop forecasts, budgets, and operating plans for product sales channels.
  • Lead territory team reviews and updates of account plans based on changing market, customer conditions, and competitive activity.
  • Help identify areas of market expansion for the assigned portfolio and territory.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in a related discipline or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Candidates will have one to three or more years of capital equipment sales experience to a hospital and/or imaging centers (Angiography) preferably, or equivalent clinical/technical experience.
  • Experience carrying large quotas and working with long sales cycles, as well as demonstrated success at meeting and surpassing those quotas.
  • Experience working with sales quotas and forecasting.
  • Successful track record of meeting and surpassing sales goals.
  • Ability to travel approximately 75%.
  • Must have a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Specific experience selling diagnostic imaging equipment (Angiography).
  • Five or more years of experience in a sales role, healthcare field preferred.
  • Professional sales training in SPIN Selling, Strategic Selling, Professional Selling Skills, Miller-Heiman, etc.

Salary

  • The base pay range for this position is: Minimum $80,800 to Maximum $121,200 annually.
  • Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • The annual incentive target is $115,000 (variable compensation).

Location

  • Field-based position serving the territory covering: Baltimore MD, Richmond VA, Charlottesville VA, and Washington, DC.
