Bid & Design Specialist - French speaker

💼 The Role:

As a Bid & Design Specialist at Haworth, you'll be a key player in supporting our sales and project teams. Your design and specification expertise will be instrumental in crafting winning bids and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You'll work closely with sales members to understand client needs and translate those needs into tailored solutions. Accuracy, efficiency, and a collaborative spirit are essential for success in this role.

🎯 What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with sales team members to fully grasp tender and request requirements for client proposals.
• Meticulously review all order documents submitted by the sales team to ensure accuracy before forwarding them to the Shared Service Centre Order Services.
• Assist in margin analysis to guarantee technical specifications align perfectly with customer needs and the tender scope.
• Effectively communicate with Haworth factories and external suppliers, providing CAD drawings for non-standard products to obtain accurate pricing and lead time estimates.

💪 What We're Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in PCON and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French are essential.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Skills: Proven problem-solving abilities, a high level of professionalism and integrity, and excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
