This is an onsite Line Cook position at a Marriott property. The exact location needs to be added. The role involves a variety of kitchen tasks, ensuring food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
What You'll Do: πͺ
- Prepare ingredients: portioning, chopping, storing.
- Wash and prep fresh produce.
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes.
- Cook food using ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
- Check food quality and cooking times.
- Set up and clean your workstation.
- Serve food in correct portions.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
- Monitor appliance and food temperatures.
- Follow all safety and security policies.
- Report maintenance needs and safety concerns.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team.
- Adhere to quality standards.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For: π
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Required: At least 1 year of relevant kitchen experience.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
