Customer Service Representative - Account Maintenance – Remote (Edmonton, AB Area)

Responsibilities

  • Make a positive difference in every customer interaction: You will talk with customers, seeing each contact as a chance to provide excellent service and help us meet or exceed our customer satisfaction goals.
  • Follow established procedures: Adhere to Ford Credit's policies and guidelines for your work area, making sure service delivery is consistent and high quality.
  • Be an active team member: Take part actively and contribute to team meetings, sharing useful ideas and working with colleagues.
  • Use company resources responsibly: Use company email and internet access according to established company policies.
  • Engage in constructive feedback: Be comfortable both giving and receiving feedback from peers and supervisors in a positive, professional, and helpful way to support ongoing improvement.
  • Support team and company goals: Show flexibility and a willingness to take on new tasks or adjust to changes that help Ford Credit and the organization reach its goals and make overall service quality better.
  • Adjust to changing situations: Be able to adjust quickly to changes in tasks or priorities and manage different workloads and potential stressful situations calmly and effectively.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) Equivalency.
  • Unparalleled customer service experience via phone and email.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Candidate must live in or around a 40-kilometer radius of Edmonton, AB, and be able to attend training at the Edmonton office.
  • Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule during our hours of operation, which include Monday – Thursday from 6:00 am – 7:00 pm MST, Friday from 6:00 am – 5:00 pm MST, and Saturday from 7:00 am – 1:00 pm MST.
  • Candidates for this position must live in and be legally entitled to work in Canada. Ford Credit Canada Company does not sponsor work permit applications.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Work effectively in a remote team environment to manage tasks with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in French preferred.
  • Collection experience preferred.
  • Answer inbound/place outbound calls with customer and dealer satisfaction as a top priority.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time, with the ability to switch to other work needs as necessary.
  • Resolve customer and dealer concerns in a positive and professional way.
