Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports with insights, trends, and recommended actions for management.
- Work with management to develop the annual budget, five-year plan, and capital plan.
- Build financial forecast models based on analysis of past performance data.
- Track data to determine actual performance versus forecast data.
- Perform root cause analysis of core issues using data.
- Assist employees with financial questions and analysis.
- Analyze processes and implement improvements.
- Review accounting transactions for accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date with the field by attending workshops and following publications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and/or Finance.
- CPA certification.
- 2+ years of experience working in a similar position.
- Sound knowledge of fundamental accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
- Experience managing and analyzing large sets of data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Experience with forecasting, budgeting, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Basic understanding of ERP systems.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
