ABOUT THE HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER MANAGER
The Human Resources Business Partner Manager (HRBP Manager) is a strategic partner responsible for aligning HR practices with business objectives. This role involves providing expert advice on HR matters, and making sure of effective putting into action of HR policies and programs across the organization. The HRBP Manager will work closely with leadership to drive HR initiatives, support organizational growth, and foster a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leaders and management teams to understand business needs and align HR strategies accordingly.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on HR-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Design, develop, and deliver HR programs across multiple locations, departments, and/or business areas.
  • Engage with business partners to develop policies, programs, tools, and analytical processes to suggest or make better people processes and organizational design.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to store leadership and field operations on company policies and conflict resolutions regarding employee conflict.
  • Investigate all details of a complaint and suggest potential outcomes based on the information.
  • Deploy and analyze surveys, interviews, and other resources to research the activities, processes, and leadership within the company.
  • Manage the onboarding, orientation, and off-boarding of restaurant leadership and home office employees.
  • Serve as an expert in employee-related regulations and laws and use external legal resources and guidance to seek understanding and recommended approaches.
  • Manage the accommodation process as it relates to work restrictions or disabilities.
  • Support the performance management processes and the annual compensation planning program, which includes goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Make sure of compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and rules.
  • Develop and put into action HR policies and procedures to keep up a fair and consistent approach across the organization.
  • Review, audit, and correct all HR data.
  • Complete required reporting cycles for regulatory required data and make sure of the timely turnaround of this information.
  • Research new and existing regulations and provide suggested content to communicate policies, procedures, and processes tied to the information.
  • Audit the completion of employee documentation, compliance videos, signed agreements, and other items for active and inactive team members, including I-9s and E-verify completion.
  • Manage the Leave of Absence process documentation and communication.
  • Make sure the ATS is accurate and updated.
  • Maintain the onboarding files and make sure of legal compliance.
  • Identify and address organizational development needs, including training programs, leadership development, and change management initiatives.
  • Support organizational change efforts and help manage the effect on employees.
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to check the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to leadership on HR activities and trends.
  • Lead or take part in HR projects and initiatives, making sure of timely and successful putting into action.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR recommended approaches.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically to address business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of HR professionals.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems.
  • Experience using various platforms such as Microsoft Word & Excel, Google Docs & Sheets, and Adobe.
  • Passion for the field of Human Resources.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Masterโ€™s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
