Why This Role Matters:

As a Job Accounting Specialist, you'll be a key player in the Kantar Business Services (KBS) Q2C team. You'll ensure accurate revenue recognition and efficient job accounting processes. Your strategic oversight and collaboration with Finance Business Partners and Project Managers will directly impact our revenue recognition and compliance, contributing to the integrity of our financial operations and supporting our business growth.

What You'll Do:

  • End-to-End Job Accounting: Oversee job accounting processes across KBS and BPO teams.
  • Revenue Recognition Compliance: Collaborate with Finance Business Partners and Project Managers to ensure adherence to revenue recognition policies.
  • Job Closure: Ensure timely and accurate job closure processes with the BPO.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze journal entries from job hard closures and ensure IFRS 15 compliance.
  • Non-Standard Revenue Recognition: Support the monthly non-standard job revenue and direct cost recognition processes.
  • Expert Judgement & Audit Support: Provide job accounting judgments and support local audit activities.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in special finance projects, including process improvement initiatives and M&A activities.

What You'll Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience as an accountant or in an equivalent role.
  • Job Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of cost allocator and cost tracker jobs.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • ERP Systems: Knowledge of ERP systems, processes, and workflow technology.
  • Language Skills: Fluent English (written and spoken).
