The Role

We are seeking a skilled KDB+ Developer with over 6 years of experience to join our team. You will be working on a Cash Equities electronic trading platform that is used worldwide.

As a key member, you will contribute to the kdb analytics stack, ensuring every transaction and signal is captured. Your work will provide the basis for decision-making by both business teams and algorithms. You will work closely with IT and Quant teams throughout the application lifecycle, from discussing business needs to delivery and beyond.

Responsibilities (What You’ll Do)

• Participate in agile software development, including technical analysis, documentation, development, testing, and code reviews.
• Work with the production support team for maintenance, troubleshooting, and release management.
• Offer feedback on architecture, design, technology choices, and DevOps practices.

Requirements (What We’re Looking For)

• At least 5 years of software development experience with kdb+ core.
• Strong understanding of tick-architecture and other patterns of kdb applications.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent knowledge of programming practices and design patterns.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to work as part of a globally distributed team.
• Eagerness to learn new domain knowledge quickly.
• Excellent communication skills.

Location: Hybrid working model in Lisbon.
