We are a fast-growing European tech scale-up leading the way in smart infrastructure and automation for last-mile delivery. With an international presence and a culture of innovation, we are seeking a standout VP of Hardware Engineering to lead and grow our hardware division.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone excited about building innovative hardware products and managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow the hardware engineering team to deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative solutions.
  • Drive the entire hardware product development lifecycle, from concept to production and deployment.
  • Define and execute the hardware strategy aligned with the company’s product roadmap and business objectives.
  • Make sure hardware integrates seamlessly with software and operations through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Promote a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends to keep the team at the cutting edge of design and manufacturing.
  • Make sure to comply with relevant standards, certifications, and best practices in hardware development.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making as a key member of the leadership team.

Requirements (What We’re Looking For)

  • Solid academic background in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading and growing hardware engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Track record of successfully delivering complex hardware products from prototyping to mass production.
  • Strong understanding of hardware development methodologies, tools, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic mindset, hands-on approach, and a passion for innovation.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in logistics tech or smart infrastructure is a strong plus.
